“Ana Maria”

This painting is one that I believe was done as a demonstration painting for a class.  I’m not totally sure.   If I’m not mistaken this original painting was given to a friend of Dad’s (the whole family, really) by the name of  Fred Schaeffer (RIP) and then handed down to one of Fred’s nephews after Fred passed away.  The painting is gorgeous and is for sale, by the way, although not through this website or anyone we know.   If you’re interested  you’ll have to google “Millard Wells” and look for “Shrimp Trawler.”  I believe that is what the broker is calling it.   This is a fantastic old piece by Dad.
