From the Hall Collection, this is one of Dad’s prints that he added a bit of color to. Originally it was done in pen and ink and printed up for notecards.

This is another of the Pen and Ink Drawings that Millard and Jeanne had printed up to sell as note cards. Sometimes Dad would color them before sending them out. If anyone has one that has been painted, we would sure love to see it.

This is another sample of the Limited Edition Note Cards that Mom and Dad had printed up. This is from the Hall Collection and we so appreciate this contribution. Mom and Dad would sometimes just write notes on these cards, but they were for sale at the Gallery. I’m not entirely sure if we have […]
Islamorada Chamber of Commerce Logo

This was sent to me by the folks at the Islamorada Chamber of Commerce. Dad did this for them years ago and it’s just gorgeous. We really appreciate this contribution to the site as one of Millard Wells’ (Dad’s) Commercial Works.

This is one of those almost oriental-looking sumi-type paintings that are, to me, so cool and rare from Dad. This is another gem from The Hall Collection. Many thanks to you all.

I find this painting breath taking. I don’t know what name it was given, but it’s the reflections that make it so amazing. I actually thought this was a photograph amongst the files that The Halls sent me. It’s beautiful.

This is another painting in the Hall Collection. It’s a familiar site to me of old as we live so near to New Orleans and have been there so many times over the years. Of course it looks a little different now…

LeMoyne Hall and his wife, Allie were my mother and father’s dearest friends when we first moved to the Florida Keys from outside Chicago, IL in the late ’60’s. This painting belongs to LeMoyne and Allie’s eldest son and his wife, also dear family friends. If I hadn’t seen these birds with my own eyes […]

This painting is one that I believe was done as a demonstration painting for a class. I’m not totally sure. If I’m not mistaken this original painting was given to a friend of Dad’s (the whole family, really) by the name of Fred Schaeffer (RIP) and then handed down to one of Fred’s nephews after […]
