A flock of roseate spoonbills¬†brighten the approach to the dock at Indian Key, the historic state park accessible only by boat.¬† Now considered a ghost town, Indian Key once served as the seat of Dade County back in 1836, and visitors can wander the island’s skeletal remains of buildings that burned to the ground in the early 1900’s.
